The frenulum is a small strip of tissue in the mouth, under the tongue (lingual frenulum), and between the lip and gums (labial frenulum). It helps in tongue movement and keeps the lip in place. If it is too short or too long, it can cause problems with speaking or eating, and in those cases, we can help resolve it.
